Guns and Dope



I tripped over this very interesting website for the Guns and Dope Party - they are endorsing everybody for president. Their platform consists of:

  • Guns for those who want them, no guns for those who don't.
  • Drugs for those who want them, no drugs for those who don't.
  • An end to Tsarism and return to constitutional democracy.
  • Equal rights for ostriches.
While Six Meat Buffet does not endorse illicit drug use, this little-known political party just may be the party a lot of us independents are looking for. They also have the laudable goal of 33% ostriches in congress. Odds are, if you put a couple of big yes/no buttons for the ostriches to peck at, they would do a much better job of voting than people like Nancy Pelosi, Charlie Rangel, Cynthia McKinney, et al. Or, they could be like John Kerry and just not show up to vote.
