MTV: Freedom of Speech? Not on this Network!

Beenie Man Yanked from MTV Concert for Anti-Gay Songs

While Eminem's virulent anti-woman bilge is considered cutting-edge "art," Beenie-Man's violent anti-gay lyrics simply cannot be tolerated. I'm no fan of either artist - and I'm no fan of violence toward anyone on the basis of gender or sexual perference. I simply find it interesting how the cultural toilet that is MTV celebrates the abusive anti-female hip-hop shit of Eminem and countless other misogynist "rappers" but is suddenly offended when the same type of crap is dished out in the direction of gays.

Who the hell is Beenie Man anyway? Is that yet another inventive musical genius that I'm missing out on? I'm sure someone out there will fill me in.
