Russian school standoff part 3
It's hard to pay attention to the GOP convention and all the feel-good flag waving while this hostage situation continues. It doesn't help that we all know it's going to end badly.
Maybe it's because I'm blessed enough to have small children, maybe it's because I pay attention to the islamic jihadists' war on the west - maybe I'm burned out on the election already. For some reason, this is the only story that matters right now.
This is all part of Russia's 9/11 - and unlike our attacks, theirs is not all neatly wrapped up into one day's slaughter. It's two planes here, a subway bombing there, now the taking of hundreds of children as hostages.
If anyone in the U.S. is delusional enough to think that we're not vulnerable to this same type of attack, you're living in a fucking dreamworld and you need your teeth slapped loose to wake your ignorant ass up.
There are terror cells all over the U.S. - well funded enough to pull off a piss-ant operation like this for sure. It doesn't take much funding to take over a school - and it certainly doesn't take much courage to hold a bunch of students and parents hostage. This is exactly the type of insanity that we have to defend ourselves against and the more complacent we become - and the more we listen to appeasers and apologists like Kerry, Moore, CBSNBCABCCNN, et al, - the more vulnerable we become and the more likely it is that we're going to suffer an attack much greater than we've seen to date.
In short, wake up and pay attention and get with the program, fuckers.
