Ivan the terrible

I don't usually do much hurricane blogging, even though I'm fascinated by all weather phenomena. However, Ivan has its sights set on New Orleans now, which could be a disaster of massive proportions. Now would be a good time to say a little prayer for those in the gulf coast and southern Mississippi, Alabama, etc. Let's hope Ivan loses some of its punch before doing too much catastrophic damage.
