Weekend football picks

Well, I'm taking a week off from work and traveling all night tonight. This means I'll miss the debate (thankfully), but will check in tomorrow afternoon for a blogosphere round-up of how badly President Junior did. I hope my pessimism is proven wrong, but I'm not optimistic about that.

This weekend's college football: Georgia 33, Tennessee 14 - just wait 'til next year, Dawgs; Florida 27, LSU 17; Oklahoma 24, Texas 20; Bama 17, Kentucky 7; Cal 33 USC 31. The pounding Auburn gave us (the not-so-mighty Vols) last week is only a taste of what we've got coming tomorrow. I can barely look.

Speaking of ugly, my Titans are laying eggs all over the NFL. Now we're going to do it in front of the whole country on Monday night - Packers 19, Titans 14. That's right Lisa, Leo & Kelly, I'm conceding defeat. Elsewhere, Indy 37, Raiders 17; Patriots 29, Dolphins 3; Falcons 30, Lions 21; Broncos 24, Carolina 19.
