Let the madness begin

Unless you've been living under a rock, you already know that the GOP Convention is going to rev up this Monday, Aug. 30. And quite honestly, I'm not looking forward to it anymore than I did the Dim-O-Crack bitch-fest weeks ago.

However............... the protest maniacs are already out in force and it's going to be non-stop entertainment for the next week. Here's an early rundown of some protest highlights.

• Communists For Kerry are out in NYC demonstrating this weekend. Please tell me someone brought a video camera too. Check out pictures here.
• Bicyclists disrupted traffic in Manhattan today - causing the first official protest arrests for the convention. I'm sure this is an effective way to sway commuters to vote for their electric-car-candidate, Lurch.
• A whole host of protesters are now hitting the Big Apple getting ready for a week's worth of anarchy and sloganeering.

All in all, this is going to be fun.
